Desert Landscape

The project we were working on is of a landscape. (Mine is a desert.) While creating my landscape, I learned how to make some layers move faster than others and how to make it seem more 3D. This was pretty easy when I was working in Adobe photoshop, then i put it into after effects and some layers were screwed up so I had to keep going back to fix them. (I kept repeating this process about 3 times.) The photoshop was the easiest part of this because all you had to do was draw on your computer. The hardest part of this project was putting it into after effects and making sure the layers were going too fast. If i could change one thing about it, I would change the front layer and make it go slightly faster.

Walking Cat Animation

In the making of this video, I made a cat with a hat walking across the screen. I made the character a cat mainly because I like cats. I pretty much reviewed the puppet pin tool. It was pretty easy for the most part of it because there wasn't anything new to learn about the tools that I used, it was just all review. The thing I struggled with the most was the timing of the legs moving and how fast he goes across the screen. I got it all in sync though. I plan to keep using the puppet pin tool plenty of times with other animations in the future.

After Presentation: I learned that I need to maybe slow the speed down a little bit and make the legs actually walk.

Worm Animation

During this video I learned how to use the puppet pin tool.  It was challenging at first but then I got the hang of it! I also learned how to render the animation into a more compact file. This animation was really hard to make at first but then I finally got the hang of it and it became fun. A challenging but fun animation!
